First issue of Time Talks

The online journal of our International Time Perspective Network, Time Talks, is live! The first issue is featuring interview with Jonte Vowinckel, who talks about his views on time, time perspective and role of present.

The interview was carried out by Elena Kazakina and Ksenia Chistopolskaya, members of the Health and Clinical Issues thematic group, illustrated by Radhika Chitalia from Handmade by Radhika.

Hope you’ll find it interesting! Would be happy to know your thoughts about it!

so, we’re going very social!
please join the conversation in the most preferred channel for you:
– on LinkedIn
– on Facebook
– on Twitter
and we’re also launching a newsletter to which you can sign up here.
looking forward to discussing different aspects of time with you!

#TPCPH2016 expectations

as many of you know by now – we are in the planning stage for our next TP conference to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2016.
We would greatly appreciate if you could fill out this questionnaire (if you haven’t already) – it will help us out to set the right pace for the event. Looking forward to hearing from you!
also, if you have participated in the conference in Coimbra or Warsaw – please send your communication (power point presentation / poster ) to the following email:
hello [at] timeperspective.net
we really appreciate your input and looking forward to seeing you in Copenhagen!
cheers,
Anna

#TPCPH2016 – looking for sponsors / partners

we have now quite an active group of people who are working on making Copenhagen 2016 happen.

besides the actual input from people, we really need some financial assistance in order to make it happen. thus we would like to extend our request to you – maybe you have a way to send some financial support for this event? we have Nicolas, as our one and only supporter so far – Nicolas’ lab is really dedicated to the TP network and has been supporting both the first conference in Coimbra and the second one in Warsaw. maybe your lab / department / company you’re working for can help us out as well?

the concept for the event is still taking shape, but what I can say for sure right now – it will be different, it will be exciting, it will be extremely inspiring and it will be across many different domains.

so if you want to be the partner of this event or know someone who could be our partner – please get in touch! and if we get many sponsors, then it will benefit all of us – since then we won’t need to charge a huge participation fee! 🙂 and even if you can contribute wilt only a 20 euro or a 100 euro – it all can help! please get in touch!

and we are in support of the sharing economy – so if you can contribute with your time to the event, then, of course, you won’t need to pay any fee for participation, but it will have to be a substantial contribution. get in touch to know more on how you can contribute!

thanks!

looking forward to hearing from you!

cheers,

Anna

TP Network conference 2016 – in Copenhagen

the conference venue for 2016 has changed – in our meeting in Warsaw we announced that it would be held in France, but there was an overlap with another event and thus France will be the host for 2018 conference.

for the moment I’m trying to land a venue here, in Copenhagen. I have some sort of positive feedback, but nothing really certain so far. however, I would like to push in different directions and still aim for Copenhagen to happen in 2016.

I would like to ask for help from the community – I would need a few volunteers who would have the time to help me out, to brainstorm, to work on different proposals and put the program of the event together.

hope to hear from you! 🙂

2nd International Conference on Time Perspective – Warsaw, Poland, 2014

Last minute invitation, last minute arrangements, but I made it to the 2nd TP conference, which was in Warsaw this time. I was part of the scientific committee, but also the official photographer this time. It was great to see many familiar faces, but it was also great to make new connections. And we were able to touch the book 🙂 it’s coming out soon! more photos
