  • How do these different temporal frames impact your personal well-being and how you can improve it;
  • How can you strengthen the positive aspects of your temporal profile and

Where is My Time? – You are invited to explore

It’s the beginning of the new year… This period can be both exciting and anxiety provoking. New year, new beginning, new opportunities, new destinations, but also how to manage everything else that is already there? Various routines, previous and continuous projects and responsibilities …

Perhaps you’re setting new goals and wondering how to actually realize them. Or perhaps you are currently even not sure what goals to set. Or maybe there is a lot of uncertainty, which makes it difficult to plan anything.

Whatever your situation might currently be, there are some things that you would like to clarify for yourself and create a roadmap and set an overall direction for your activities in the year ahead.

I would like to offer my time and space to help you with that. You’re invited to join a workshop “Where is My Time?” during January or February and explore it together with other time enthusiasts, or otherwise I’m open for individual consultations as well. Book your spot here.

During this hands on workshop you will reflect on:

  • what went well the previous year
  • where are you now
  • what you would like to develop further and
  • what you would like to say goodbye to
  • what is really important for you
  • where does your time actually go
  • where do you ideally want your time to be and how to make it happen

We will also discuss why the traditional time management techniques don’t really work and how to go about it. You will be able to discover your own unique temporal profile that can help you to develop your own personalized way to work with your time. That can lead to being less stressed, being more mindful and happy.

I have been actively exploring the concept of time for the past 20 years and am happy to share my insights with you in this course.

Through the hands-on activities of the session you will learn about the field of Psychology of Time, and Time Perspective theory and approach in particular. The course will involve narrative methods, art-therapy techniques and time perspective coaching.

Warm welcome to Creative Time Studio!

I’m looking forward to create the time together with you!

WHERE IS MY TIME WORKSHOP | POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY COURSE, DIS | Spring 2019

Once again it was a great pleasure to welcome students from the Positive Psychology spring semester course at DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia to take part in my  “Where is my Time” workshop as a field study.

We have explored various aspects of the subjective time experience, individual differences in time perspective and how to apply in practice our research results about how to achieve the balanced time perspective and what are the actual benefits of having this particular time perspective.

If you’re interested to run this workshop at your workplace or interested to take the full course – feel free to get in touch!

WHERE IS MY TIME WORKSHOP | PSYCHOLOGY OF TIME COURSEs, DIS | SPRING 2019

This Spring semester of 2019 I was taken by surprise with two sections of my course “Psychology of Time” that I’m teaching at DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia. Overall I have 50 students, who are interested in the subject matter! It’s super exciting that students find this topic interesting and decide to take the course! “Where is My Time” workshop becomes an integral part of the course, when students discover their temporal profiles using various instruments and techniques. My current studio space is not that large to host groups of 23 and 27 students, but we did our best to fit in and I think we had good time while working on the “My Time Collage”.

WHERE IS MY TIME WORKSHOP | POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY COURSE, DIS | Fall 2018

Right after my birthday, I was running the my “Where is my Time” workshop as a field study for the Positive Psychology fall semester course at DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia.

It is always very interesting what perspectives the students bring with them to this workshop. We talked about my experiences when working with people with various temporal perspectives and applying our research results about how to achieve the balanced time perspective.

WHERE IS MY TIME WORKSHOP | Positive PSYCHOLOGY COURSE, DIS | Summer 2018

Exciting summer day it was today – I was invited to run my “Where is my Time” workshop as a field study for the Positive Psychology summer course at DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia. We had a great time exploring own temporal profile, collaging and then reflecting on it, discussing how it can be linked to the state of flow, concept of flourishing, but also what is a balanced time perspective and how to achieve it with simple exercises and techniques.

Where is My Time workshop for Karriere Coach, Aarhus |April 2018

Another super exciting adventure during the Danish Research Festival was to be invited to Aarhus. I was invited there with my “Where is My Time” workshop by the Karriere Coach, a consulting company that works with helping people to figure out possible career and competence developments.

It was a nice workshop for both the coaches and participants of their various development programs.

We had very nice discussions after the workshop both with the coaches, diving more deeply into the theories behind the workshop: the time perspective approach and some contradictions within positive psychology.

If you’re interested to run this workshop at your workplace or interested to take the full course – feel free to get in touch!

Another participant has also took me a bit around Aarhus to see some hidden treasures of the city. It was a great experience overall!

Where is My Time Workshop for the Danish Court Administration | April 2018

It was super exciting to have been invited by the Danish Court Administration | Danmark Domstole Domstolsstyrelsen to run my “Where is My Time?” workshop as part of the Danish Research Festival. It is a teaser, 2 hour workshop. It won’t allow for new skills to be developed, but it is enough time to have some reflections over how we see and operate in time.

It was a great workshop, many interested and engaged people took part in it!
