Executive Counselling
Psychological support for leaders carrying high responsibility
A confidential space to think, decide, and lead more sustainably
I work with executives, founders, and senior leaders who are highly capable and committed—but who sense that the way they are currently leading is no longer fully sustainable, shared, or aligned.
This is not coaching and not performance optimisation.
It is psychologically grounded counselling for leaders navigating complexity, responsibility, and change.
Who This Is For
This work may be right for you if:
- you carry a high level of responsibility and decision-making alone,
- your work is effective, but increasingly heavy or isolating,
- slowing down feels risky—even when you know it’s necessary,
- you feel pressure to remain strong, fast, and in control,
- you are navigating growth, transition, succession, or organisational change,
- you function well, yet something feels internally misaligned.
Many of my clients would say:
“I’m doing well—yet something in the way I’m leading no longer works.”
What I Offer
I offer a confidential, reflective space where executives can step out of performance mode and think clearly—without having to justify, optimise, or defend themselves.
My work focuses on the psychological dimensions of leadership, including:
- fear, guilt, and pressure linked to responsibility,
- overload and invisible cognitive labour,
- boundaries between work, self, and relationships,
- leadership identity and legitimacy,
- meaning, values, and narrative continuity,
- transitions, growth phases, and succession.
The goal is not to push you further, but to help you lead in a way that is sustainable, grounded, and internally coherent.
How We Work
My approach is rooted in clinical psychology and existential analysis, adapted to executive life.
Our work typically involves:
- moving from reactivity to reflective authority,
- clarifying what drives urgency and over-responsibility,
- restoring agency without rigid control,
- redefining boundaries (time, availability, relational closeness),
- redistributing cognitive and emotional load,
- supporting complex decisions with psychological clarity.
Sessions combine depth and practicality, always tailored to your context and pace.
What Clients Experience
Over time, clients often report:
- less constant urgency and pressure,
- clearer priorities and decision-making,
- greater tolerance for uncertainty,
- reduced isolation at the top,
- more nuanced relational boundaries,
- renewed sense of meaning and direction.
Performance often improves indirectly—but it is not the primary promise.
What This Is Not
To set clear expectations, this is not:
- executive coaching focused on goals or KPIs,
- business consulting or strategy advice,
- productivity optimisation,
- therapy for acute psychiatric conditions.
If another form of support is more appropriate, this will be discussed openly.
