Arriving into 2025: Where is My Time?

Invitation to a self-reflection and self-exploration workshop

We are in the 4th week of the New Year, 2025. I would like to offer a time and space to reflect on how this year can unfold for us.

Something to ponder about:

“Life takes place in time and life will appear where I have time. ..”

“That which I have time for is that which I live for. “

In this workshop I would like us to explore the mysterious concept of time, consider it from the psychological perspective. It is also a time and space to reflect on what you wish for yourself to happen during this new year, how to find time for it, or how to create conditions to give your time to those projects, people and wishes.

I have a few reflection questions to discuss in the group format. I have a few hands-on activities to do on own and perhaps together. I have quite a few different tools I can tell you about how to become friends with time.

I am thinking about an in-person workshop in Copenhagen either in the evening of Wednesday, February 5, 2025 (tentatively 17 to 19ish) or in the morning of Saturday, February 8, 2025 (10.00 to 13.00).

Let me know if you would like to attend and when it best suits you. Otherwise I am in Copenhagen between February 3 and February 10 and still have a few openings for in-person individual sessions.

Looking forward to hearing from you! And hope to see you while I am in Copenhagen!

Kind regards,

Anna

I am available for giving workshops on how to deal with culture shock and using creativity as a resource. I would be thrilled to develop a tailored talk / workshop regarding time, creativity and your field of interest.

Creative Rendezvous: Discovering Eduardo Chillida | March 18, 2018

On March 11th I’ve started the Creative Rendezvous series. The first event was dedicated to the links between the inner necessity, impressions that music evokes in us and visualizations of those in line with the Wassily Kandinsky Synthesis of Arts.

This upcoming Sunday, March 18th we will dive into exciting and mesmerizing world of Eduardo Chillida, a Spanish Basque sculptor notable for his monumental abstract works.

Chillida (1924 – 2002), known for his massive and abstract sculptures that concentrated around the human form, actually preferred to be called a “realist sculptor”. There is a lot of movement and tension in his work and we will look into his sketches and graphic work, that often became the prototypes of his sculptures. He was a great master of using both, the positive and negative space. We will do some exercises that tap into technique Chillida often used as a step towards making 3D sculptures.

We will talk about the dialogue Chillida was engaged with Heidegger, a prominent German philosopher, about Art and Space. What is the relationship between emptiness and space and how sculpture is ’embodiment of places’.

And of course, we will explore his works and way of thinking in a more practical way!

Looking forward to challenge your notion of space this Sunday! Join the fun! Find your ticket here.

During the next Sundays you’re more than welcome to join the Creative Rendezvous about Sonia Delaunay, collaging and tribal art.

Looking forward to share my passion with you!

Work in Progress – You are invited

This year has an exciting start for me, which I would like to share with you. I have become part of the Rhizom gallery and art space and we are hosting an Open House event on January 31, and you’re most welcome to join!

It is “work in progress” – the space is still taking its shape and we have just recently moved in. We would like to welcome you here for a casual chat and show our process and works in progress.

I will show my sketchbooks, some of my watercolors and recent paintings / illustrations I have made in Greece. You can also see some of my photography projects as well.

I’d be happy to see you and share my creative process with you!
Warm welcome!
